So I got a job for this schoolyear, yes - very last minute - and just started work last week. Things are pretty crazy in the this house at present. I am working as the Activities Coordinator at Shorecrest High School - basically I help students put on events, assemblies, dances, run clubs, organizations, etc. I teach the leadership class, work with ASB and student council; do the reservations for building use, liaison between PTSA and Boosters, and act as part of the administrative team. Getting tired yet? I am!
This is from the calm before the storm - Labor Day weekend. Edison was pooped, but not really able to nap. He ended up sleeping on dad for one hour at the beach in place of his nap. How cute!
Our friends James and Robin invited us for a wonderful meal and outdoor fire last weekend. We had a blast and Charlotte was very well behaved.
I wish this focused a little better, but you can still tell she's starting to be more alert and with it!
From last Sunday, the opening day of football season. Go Patriots! Edison still loves sitting with Charlotte.
Okay - now Charlotte is ready to cheer on the Pats today. Too bad the magic didn't translate into victory on the field. Oh well! At least they're uber-cute together!

September - Lake Roosevelt
Charlotte has much more alert time these days. I love seeing her like this!
Stylin' in the carseat.
We spent Labor Day Weekend at Lake Roosevelt in Eastern Washington. It is a huge (150 mile long) reservoir formed behind the Grand Coulee Dam and is a National Recreation Area. It has a ton of camping and boat-in-only camping options. We found a neat cove to go swimming in and to test out Edison's life jacket.
Here I am with Charlotte at the same beach.
Charlotte looking pretty on the picnic blanket.
