We rung in the New Year at Sara and Jay's house in the orchard - what fun! But sadly, no pictures. What a whirlwind 2014 has been so far. I've gone back to teaching and it seem that the weekends are a just a catch up from the week (Saturday) and prep for the next week (Sunday). But - there have been some bright moments and we're starting to figure out our rhythm. Some highlights - Charlotte and Edison made amazing gingerbread houses while they hung out with Nana at the cabin and Eben and I got to go skiing ( again - no pictures :-( ).
And when he's in a good mood - he's in a VERY good mood!
Janine is an amazing nanny. She finds such appropriate and stimulating activities for each of the children. Reed enjoys special attention in the morning when the big kids are at preschool.
Edison has lost all four of his front teeth!
Mustaches are in, right?!
We got to celebrate Alton's 2nd birthday at Pete and Jennie's house.
Palmer and Partap came out for the long Martin Luther King weekend. We had a blast showing them the area, taking them up to the cabin, skiing at Stevens, venturing down to Leavenworth, Icicle Creek and the Sleeping Lady. Finally, we spent a day poking around Seattle. Partap even taught Johanna how to cook a few vegetarian Indian dishes. Yum!
