Tulips!

Charlotte dressed herself last week for a special day at school - field trip to the Burke Museum. So lovely and in keeping with the beautiful magnolia behind her.

On Friday night we went to Elevated Sports for Dillon and Liam's combined birthday parties. They are now 6 and 4 respectively. So much fun to jump around on the trampolines and play in the giant fun houses. Thanks to the Adams' for a lively evening. Dillon and Liam had a blast and hopefully a great start to their years as a six and a four-year old.

On Sunday morning I piled the kids in the car with waffles in hand and we drove up to Mount Vernon for the Tulip Festival. It was chilly and threatening rain, but the flowers did not disappoint. Tough to get all three kids in a picture while Reed just wants to run, run, run. But we did manage to have fun!

Matt and Paige's Visit #3

We stopped by Deception Falls on the way home over Stevens Pass. It had been raining hard and the water was kicking. In fact, Seattle ended up setting a record for rainfall that day - 2 inches. But it was still fun to be outside and the scenery was invigorating.

Matt and Paige's Visit #2 - Icicle Canyon

We traveled out to Icicle Canyon and the Sleeping Lady. It was fun to show us one of our favorite spots.

 Reed loved his tastes of the homemade ice cream.

 

After playing a little football, we went to the Snow Lakes trailhead and along the banks of the Icicle River.

Matt and Paige Come to Visit!

We were so fortunate to have my cousin Matt and his girlfriend Paige come to visit us last weekend. They are both physical therapists in Boston and were glad to escape the snow this winter. They are both awesome with the kids and and great fun to be with.

Matt was such a good sport with Edison and was always up for lightsaber battles.

 

Matt and Paige also brought the most thoughtful presents for all of us. Totally won the kids over.

 

Reed in his new Patriots sweatshirt. So cute - Baby Belichick. He got Charlotte's ski boots out and put them on all by himself.
