We got to cap off a lovely weekend with a Sunday BBQ at Meg and Chris's house. The weather has just been phenomenal here. Reed had fun hopping back into his old walker that Jack is now using.
We also had a nice visit from Janine. It was really great to catch up and of course, the kids loved seeing her too!
This weekend we were back up at the cabin. More dress up, more light sabers, more poses.
The kids are playing nicely together - for the most part. I got down and played with them, too. Charlotte gave me a Lego person and told me to be the mommy, she was the daughter. We bought a house together that Edison made for us, we also visited the Lego Zoo after we'd made ourselves a car. As I lost interest and faded off from playing along, Charlotte would tell me "you need to control yourself mama!" Ha ha - had to control my Lego person - such a great way to say it though.
65 and sunny at the Beaver Valley School playground. They leave all the toys in the covered area. The kids like to use the jump ropes to create things like ships and whatnot which I think is pretty cool.
Meg and Chris came out this past weekend with their boys. More lightsabers! More playground!
Then Chris and Eben took the older kids skiing for the afternoon so Meg and I took the babies to dinner in Leavenworth which was a fun treat. Until we got an urgent call halfway through telling us that the skiing was OVER and we had to rush up to the pass.
