DECEMBER - A Time for Friends

This is what play time looks like in the winter when the kids are indoors a lot more - dress up! Charlotte did her outfit, then transferred it to Reed.

This is now an official Christmas tradition - making cookies with Meg's family while the guys watch football. The kids were so much more independent this year and their cookies turned out really well.

We pulled off a Progressive Dinner in early December with our friends who also have children in the preschool - grade 1 range. Though this dinner was so enjoyable probably because kids needs were being attended to by other caregivers that night. We had appetizers at our house, then went to Olivia and Eric's for soup/salad, co-hosted by Erin and Jim. Dinner was at Razi and Stephen's house (amazing enchiladas), co-hosted by Brooke and Rob. We wrapped up the evening at Lisa and Jeff''s house for dessert and charades. Can't wait to do this again!

The second weekend in December held day one of skiing this year - Charlotte and mommy went together in the afternoon after Daddy and Edison went in the morning with a Reed hand-off in between. Charlotte remembered everything from last year and had some really great runs at Stevens.
Meg and Chris also made it over to the cabin that Saturday night for some night sledding and snowball making.
Amy and Michael were also in the area and dropped over for dinner too - so fun!
And this is what it looks like when you use a raft for sledding - all in good fun!
