Swim Meets Begin

Summer swim meets began this week. We had our first meet away at Sheridan Beach. It is always fun because the kids go to school with a lot of kids at Sheridan. Here's a look at this year's 9-10 girls from Aqua Club.

 Medley Relay: Charlotte, Claire, Chloe, and Ivy.

 Swim meets are a mob scene for sure. At least Sheridan has the lake.

When the kids aren't racing the grown ups get the chat and eat dinner.

Our Thursday night meet was at Blue Ridge. We were lucky Eben snagged a sunny spot.

 I loved how this series of pictures shows Charlotte getting ready for her race. She raced a 100 IM and achieved an amazing come-from-behind 2nd place finish.

Even Reed got into the action with a great races in the Freestyle and the Breaststroke.
