Its Fall, Y'all!

It has been a pretty great launch into the school year!
My classes are full of really dedicated and kind students - which makes every day of being a teacher pretty awesome! I am remembering how much I LOVE TEACHING and empowering / guiding young people to create an inclusive school culture. It is my passion and has been in hibernation since COVID and our difficult year at SC last year.
Edison is driving! Charlotte is running XC! Reed turned 10 and is doing school patrol! They are all swimming every evening. We are biz-zee! But in the best way!
I got away to the cabin last weekend with a friend. We spent time soaking in the sunshine at Lake Wenatchee, Hidden Lake and on the Wenatchee River. We enjoyed some nice walks in the woods - all the foliage is starting to show off with bright chartreuse, yellows, oranges, and crimson colors contrasted by the douglas firs and ponderosa pines which remain dark green. There’s a doggie in my life that is winning me over by leaps and bounds (literally and figuratively). I like the way this is going.
Book Club is back - year 8! So happy to talk about all the facets of life with these amazing women
It is a really wonderful start to fall! Hope you’re feeling the fall vibes, too!!!
