It is fun to be able to do bath time now with both kids in the same bath. Charlotte has outgrown bathing in the sink. She has a little plastic tub that we put into the big tub so they can both be in there together. They have a blast. Charlotte seems to enjoy hamming it up and making Edison laugh by splashing water everywhere.
We had a wonderful weekend with Jamie and his daughters, Ashlynn & Kayla. They came up from Oregon for a ski weekend. We all lived in Connecticut at the same time and it was fun for the kids to be reunited. We also had Matt and his family over. (Eben, Jamie & Matt played football at the USCG Academy). Here's a picture of the kids (Ashlynn, Kayla, Grace, Edison) on the couch (minus Charlotte and Matt's son, Jake - they were already asleep).
Charlotte is ecstatic about her first ride in a playground swing.
We spent the morning at Seward Park on Lake Washington. It was almost 55 degrees and not raining - so you have to get outside and enjoy it. They have a brand new playground that is really awesome. Edison tried the zipline - we were so proud of him taking that risk!
Edison threw rocks into the lake for about 30 minutes - some kind of toddler zen. I enjoyed the calm water and the city views in the background.
