We headed out to the cabin the day after Christmas and had our friends Heidi, Jen, Max and Maggie over. We had a great time playing in the snow. Plus, their kids are a tad older than ours and they played so well together. Very different than the way younger kids play - these guys could entertain themselves for hours in the kids' room. That let us play a lot of Spades with Jen and Heidi, which was totally awesome and many years in the making.
Snowmen on the bridge - why not?
We walked into town and investigated this old piece of mill machinery.
We are just getting the sledding hill started for the season.
Eben also took each Charlotte and Edison skiing, separately, as part of our time out there. The kids retained much of their ski skills and should build on them quickly this year.
