Our intrepid Aunt Kirstie ventured out to the cabin in the first big snow in order to spend a day making lefse, the traditional Norwegian flat bread that our family always eats on Christmas day. We sure are happy she came. The kids learned a little more about their heritage and got to read Bestamor's handwritten version of my Great-Grandma Jennie's recipe. Charlotte rolled so hard she gave herself blisters.
Time to build a snowman.
It was fun getting out for a walk in the snowy woods up to the meadow above our house and then over the pedestrian bridge on the Wenatchee River.
Daddy is still loving his new snow blower.
Reed looks adorable in his long underwear.

Reed loves brushing his teeth these days. Here is his usual morning routine. Already multitasking...Charlotte and mommy are twins!
