Thanksgiving - Part 2

We headed over to Kirstie and Peter's house for the big Thanksgiving meal with my mom's side of the family. Peter made an excellent bird and got to wear the turkey crown.

As long as we were getting dressed up, we thought we'd try our hand at a family photo. Almost.... but not quite there! Charlotte!

 After a delicious meal with so many different dishes to savor, we did the waterfall hike at Weowna Park to make room for dessert.

 I got lucky and captured this bald eagle returning to the tree top with its mate.

 The kids were treated to an early Christmas courtesy of Floyd and Kathie who are not able to join us at Christmas. They were absolutely delighted to receive the gifts and woke up early Friday morning to begin building Lego sets and reading books.
