Valentine's Day and a Big Snowfall in LFP

Nana came over to celebrate an early Valentine's Day.
Charlotte planned a homemade Valentine's party with Bryn and Harper. She practiced making chocolates for a few days leading up to the big event. They were a hit!
Nothing says Valentine's Day like masks and hitting a piñata with a baseball bat! LOL. The kids had a blast, though!

I woke up on Saturday morning to find my LFP house covered in 8" of snow. I had to shovel the driveway and head to my dad's to drive him to his COVID vaccine appointment. It was sketchy out there - but we made it! Glad to switch to walking mode for the rest of the weekend, including a nice walk to Cally's for a glass of wine.

The kids enjoyed the snow day and start of Midwinter Break by playing a three-hour game of monopoly with no fighting! WHAT?! Loved that!

Meanwhile, the pool re-opened again and I got in the first swim session with Erin. To quote
Erin Maurer
: “only the hardcore swimmers came out today.” Glad to be in great company! Shout out to
Corey
for making a path through the snow at the always amazing Aqua Club. ❄️❄️🏊‍♀️

That afternoon the kids took a break from catching up on schoolwork to have recess with Bryn and Harper in the last of the now heavy and wet snow.
