After breakfast they opened their presents from us. Edison was super excited to receive the remote control monster truck he'd been asking for.
Charlotte got cuddly with her new sleeping bag - perfect for camping trips coming up this year.
But she loved her new big girl bike and seemed to pick up how the pedals work pretty quickly.
And Edison is now able to do lots of imaginary play with his new work bench. He has asked when daddy is going to do another house project so he can help.... hopefully not for awhile!
We had my family over for Christmas dinner. We made a dinner in honor of Bestamor: pot roast, mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus, jello fruit salad and herring. Delicious!
The kids got into a frenzy of unwrapping gifts. Rest assured, each one is getting plenty of attention in the playroom these days. Thanks to Nana, Auntie Kirstie, Uncle Peter, Auntie Kathie, and Uncle Floyd for their generosity!
The kids got great books this year. Legos, dump trucks, new clothes, a V-Reader cartridge, and lots of other goodies rounded out their gifts. They were definitely spoiled this year. But heck - Christmas doesn't come that often and these are great kids!
