We were so lucky to pull off a family camping and hiking trip at Mount Baker this month. It was an exceptionally hot 97 degrees and our first afternoon at the camp ground we played on the banks of the icy cold, glacier-fed Nooksack River.

We hiked on Tuesday. Our first stop was Picture Lake that, on less hazy days than this one, beautifully reflects Mount Shuksan.
The kids (Edison, Charlotte and Jamie) were really excited to get to play in the snow.
