Charlotte's First Grade Concert, Celebrating Mother's Day, Reed Rides a Bike!

Charlotte's class and the other first grade classes put on a first rate spring concert. She has been singing the songs a lot at home and even worked with Granddaddy to pick out one of the tunes on the piano and write it down as sheet music. She insisted on dressing up and looking her best for the big show.

 A few of the songs were choreographed.

 

 

We celebrated Mother's Day at my mom's cozy house with Floyd and Kathie, and the Peters family. It was so good to see each other again. There are a ton of little ones running around these days!

Oh! And Reed can now ride a two-wheeler bicycle. His time on the balance bike paid off and he skipped right over the training wheel phase.
