SEPTEMBER - Reed is Four!!!

Reed turned four today, September 1st! He helped make his cake in the morning.

 Then we drove to the cabin for Labor Day Weekend. We stopped for special birthday milkshakes at the 59'er Diner. What a great!

 And wrapped up the big day with a river float followed by birthday cake. It was fun to have Jenabel, Jasper and Michael over for the party!

 

 

Later that weekend we went hiking at Hope Lake on the Pacific Crest Trail. It was another 3.0 mile round-trip and the kids did great.

 

Hope Lake was pretty, but definitely not as spectacular as the mountains around Lake Minotaur.  There were a lot of cool frogs to watch, though.
