MARCH - Edison: Science Fair and Math Olympiad

Edison had a couple big school moments in early March. He conducted a science project (How does the angle at which a Nerf gun is held affect the distance the projectile travels?) and earned a 4+ on it by being detail oriented and methodical. Woo Hoo
Edison also participated in the Shoreline Math Olympiad. He had a lot of fun. His team won 3rd place in 5th grade math (even though they're in fourth grade - since they're learning fifth grade math). Not pictured - Eli.
Edison also scored 3rd place individually in math amongs all kids competing in 5th grade (again, having to "play up"). It was so awesome to see him in his element. He is receiving the medal from our Superintendent, Rebecca Miner.

 With buddies, Zack and Tomas.
My Aunt Deborah and Uncle David came to visit while they were in town. It was so lovely to spend the evening with them.

Reed is continuing to love LFP Montessori. Here he is on a rollerskating field trip with his classmates.
