At the last minute Eben let the kids spend the night with me on Christmas. It was a really fun surprise to enjoy time on the actual day of Christmas with them. We had a cozy little Christmas night together and had fun opening stockings from Santa and a few presents.
Reed got a letter back from Santa as a response to sending Santa a letter at the end of November. It was exciting to open the letter which was postmarked from the North Pole. Santa was very encouraging and proud of how hard Reed was working in school and helping around the house.
Edison really liked the new Catan board game and we started playing it immediately.
Ahhhhh - a perfect evening for cozying up. Reed got a dog onesie pajamas from Santa. It was fun of Charlotte to wear her kitty onesie that night to complement each other.
I woke up the next morning to find Edison and Charlotte playing a riveting game of Magic while Reed was reading a book on the other side of the room. This is heaven to mamas everywhere!
The Swurfer! So fun in action!Nana came over for the morning and we opened more presents (how is this possible?!) from her and aunts and uncles. It truly is a blessing to feel so loved by our family.
Reed read Santa's letter to Nana. Love hearing him read!
The hit of the morning was an Xbox One set from Uncle Floyd and Aunt Kathie. The kids were VERY excited for this unexpected gift.Charlotte is nice enough to share the boxing gear with her brothers. Fun!
