Deception Pass hike for today’s opportunity to get out and enjoy this beautiful home we call the PNW.
Went on a mushroom scavenger hunt- don’t know what kinds they are, but it’s fun to look for them. Saw herons, seals, eagles, and sea birds.
Sat at the top of Goose Rock and took it all in. Nearly got blown away by the gusts.
But I’m still standing. And sometimes, after being battered around by what life throws your way and having to carry heavy weights at times, it is okay to be satisfied with “still standing.”
My heart is intact and I am ready to receive any goodness coming my way and will be putting out there as much love and kindness as I can. Take care of each other, friends. And love to all of you who take care of me. You know who you are.
