James and I enjoyed a weekend of getting dressed up and raising money for good causes. First up was the American Lung Association Wine Fest event. James takes his Board Member duties seriously and did much to help raise money at this event and make it a great time. It was great to meet some of his friends from UW and Boeing at the super well done tasting event featuring 27 wineries at Hideaway Cellars.
We also had a fabulous Saturday night at the Shorecrest Boosters "Glam or Grunge" Auction with great friends, fellow parents and staff, delicious food from the Shorecrest Culinary Arts Program, and a lot of fun ways to fundraise for our student activities and sports. The Boosters put in so much time and effort into this event and it really helps support our kids and programs! And to finish it off, we went and saw my friend Sara's husband's band, Buzz Brump at the Sea Monster Lounge in Fremont. They rocked it - super funky and a great, full sound - perfect for jam dancing!
