Cozy, cozy cabin. Time for some downtime and a re-set with the kids. No skiing at Stevens (yet?!). So we are settling into a routine of blueberry pancakes, walking in the sunshine and snow, enjoying meals together, appreciating the joyfulness with which Leavenworth does it up for Christmas, soaking in the hot tub and sitting side-by-side on the couch with a football game going in front of a roaring wood stove. Reed is attempting to carve out the sledding hill and apparently I'm giving him driving lessons at the local school parking lot because it makes him happy. My heart is full.
