Sucia Island - Part Two

We headed by boat to Ewing Cove for lunch Saturday and some relaxation on the beach. The sandstone formations are just incredible here.

The kids picked up the moon jellies off the beach and flung them back into the water to save them.

At low tide the girls and I walked out onto these little islands to explore.

The boys driving the boat.... watch out world!
We saw a lot of wildlife on this trip, including this pair of Bald Eagles.
A perch for Eric at sunset.

Sunday morning we headed out to Jones Island for a hike followed by pool time at Rosario Resort. Unfortunately my camera battery died and I have no more photos of the weekend. So sad! But, it was super fun! The pool time was great - Reed could jump in, stand up on the bottom, walk to the stairs, and repeat. He was in heaven! And the opportunity to clean up was much needed. Monday morning we packed up and lounged at Shallow Bay's sandy beach before heading home. It was a wonderful getaway with our friends!
