We wanted to ski today, but on the way over the pass, it was apparent that the heavy rains at Stevens Pass were not worth enduring to get in a skiing run. So - we headed down to the cabin and enjoyed the sunshine. We ventured out for a hike at Chiwaukum Creek, but it was still under a lot of snow, so we headed further down-valley to the old Pipeline trail just outside of Leavenworth. We have done this trail before, but not in early spring. So - - - the big difference is all the water on the trail and bridge, and all the snow. It made for quite a challenge! But it was fun, anyway!
