End of the Year for Charlotte and Edison

Charlotte and Edison wrapped up a year of Spanish class with a presentation for the parents. We played bingo, heard the kids tell us their age and favorite foods, and got to enjoy a skit about a family going to dinner. Edison played the padre and Charlotte was the dishwasher.

The weather has finally started to improve and it is fun to have picnics down at the Civic Club again. We met up with Heidi and her kids there this past week. Max was super thoughtful and handed down a bunch of his Pokemon collection to Edison who was over the moon to spend time with Max and to get more cards.

Edison had his end-of-the-year concert at school this past week, too. They did a bunch of songs, a number of them from other cultures, and did a series of dances, too. Edison does enjoy singing even though you can’t tell that by his expression!

Nana took Charlotte shopping for her birthday this weekend. Charlotte is a wise shopper who made her spending money go extra far. She selected a My Little Pony umbrella and a few stuffed animals as her special finds!
