On our last day, we had a little more exploring to do as we finished our lap around the Sechelt Peninsula and beyond. This is Buccaneer Bay, a beautiful sandy beach between North and South Thormanby Islands. There are only five camp spots here, but it would be awesome to come back midweek - it was a little busy on the weekend, even had a charter boat service running people out for the day.
We did find a stretch all to ourselves, though.
We poked into Farm Bay at the south end of Southern Thormanby Island. There is a large camp spot here and an old orchard with yummy, ripe apples and trails to explore.
Heading back to Sechelt before pulling the boat out. Eben jogged the one mile across Sechelt to pick up the truck and we met him at the boat ramp. We caught the earlier ferry and were back at home by 10:30 that night. Not too shabby! Where to next year?!
