I managed to get into my happy place today and was able to enjoy the mountains. They are brilliant right now with bright white snow on every peak. I have been wearing a fixed brace and was told to start walking a bit, not too much, and don’t twist it. So, that’s what I’ve been doing and it hasn’t been too painful. The kids said it was probably their best day of skiing in the last two years with all the new powder everywhere. Their favorite runs were off Seventh Heaven and Double Diamond chairs. I got to be a Lodge Mama and enjoy the views from the Foggy Goggle. Huzzah! Life is better with snow and sunshine and fresh mountain air! And the hot tub felt pretty nice at the end of the day.
