Spring Break - Part 4, Banks Lake

Mostly though, our trip was about taking our new boat out for a spin.

 Banks Lake is 17 miles long and all public land. It was fun to disembark and explore the nooks and crannies.

 The kids liked playing in the dirt - which we could have done at home.

 Eben loved the new engine that he worked hard to put on this week.

 We loved the big sky out here and the kids carried those golf clubs around all weekend.

 We all slept in the loft of the house. Charlotte was exited to finally wake up before Edison for once. I just couldn't get enough of those cute little toes!

 Leaving the boat launch at the resort. The kids actually did a decent job of paddling - until Charlotte dropped hers in the water.

 We cruised over to Steamboat Rock State Park and Campground. They have an excellent playground. Here the kids were making "trains" to go down the slide.

 We found the perfect beach Saturday afternoon.

 Nothing quite as peaceful as this.
