Spring Break - Part 2

Charlotte & Edison pretend the pantry is their little house. Charlotte is getting ready for all the fun adventures that await us during Spring Break.

Monday was a beautiful day and we enjoyed spending it at Whidbey Island. The kids liked the ferry boat ride...

and beach combing. Edison is now on the prowl for sea glass.

They really do get along splendidly these days. Tuesday we went to the indoor water park with Nana. It is too humid there to take pictures, but trust me - it is a blast.

Wednesday we went to the tulip festival in Mount Vernon. We were fortunate the rain held off. Did you know they produce more tulip bulbs right here in Washington than they do in the Netherlands?

Edison is starting to do a good job posing.

But mostly he'd rather splash in mud puddles with Charlotte. We did learn a lesson last year - bring an extra pair of clothes for them. And, I was glad I did after Charlotte wiped out in a mud puddle.

They don't have any scent, but Charlotte was exploring them up close anyway.

We had lunch in the river town of La Conner. Edison actually took this picture!
