We are up at the cabin for a week. The focus is mostly on building a covered deck. But we've been able to have a little fun, too. Heidi came out with Max and Maggie and the highlight of our time together was our first float on the Upper Wenatchee with all the kids. I bought the raft for Eben for Christmas. While it is by no means a commercial raft, it does a fine job handling all the kids and two adults for a river float. The put in is just a few miles from our house and we can float the river, which does a big bend out, down to the swimming hole by the cabin in about 2 hours. There are a few good sized island beaches that make great stops. We had a blast and I am sure this is the first of many river floats!
