We were fortunate to find a few flat shelves for setting up the tents on the granite of Musket Island on the west end of Hardy Island. Phew! The spots were idyllic and we had a great sunset. The kids loved exploring the small island.
Edison made runs to and from the Whaler for the cooler items which was very helpful!
As we were packing up on Thursday morning, a pod of orcas went right by our campsite! It was magical! What a joy!
After Musket Island, we headed south along the coast to Pender Harbour, sometimes called the Venice of Canada. It has a ton of nooks and crannies to poke into, many marinas, a few restaurants, and it would be important to have a small boat to get around in here.
