Field Trips, Talent Show, and Book Club

Charlotte was in the Ridgecrest Talent Show, playing piano. We were nervous for her, but proud and excited that she wanted to give it a try. She did a very nice job playing the piano "Minuet & Trio."

All three kids have gotten to go on some really cool field trips this month thanks to their awesome teachers! This is Edison's class doing a flight simulator at Museum of Flight. Note how it is set up like NASA Mission Control.

Reed's class goes all over town. These are from the Ballard Locks.

He's doing really interesting work in class, too. Like this multiplication work and continent/animal work.

And even getting visits from special guests like this doctor.
Meanwhile, my book club read "Circe," which is a work of historical fiction that re-imagines the character in Greek mythology of Circe from her own perspective. So we had to dress up, of course!
And summer swim team has started again. This time we have three swimmers. Reed joined the 8 & Under team and is doing awesome! He swims with a lot of intensity and a great flutter kick.
