Shorecrest Back to School - Leadership Training, ASB Lock In, New Student Kick Off

By mid-August I have to start switching back into teacher mode. My colleague Brett and I organized our first ever Leadership Training Day. We took the curriculum for Intro to Leadership class and condensed it into seven hours and ten major “leadership lessons.” We recruited kids from all different areas of the school to join us and were even able to offer it for “clock hours” to our fellow teachers. It was so wonderful to be back working with amazing students (and they are all amazing) and seeing them catch fire to the ideas of servant leadership.
