Johanna's Birthday!

I had an awesome series of birthday celebrations with friends and family. On the morning of my birthday, I heard a knock on the door and discovered a student of mine was bringing me flowers - awwww!  I had a lovely dinner at the Local 104 with the kids and my mom on "day of" which made me feel very special and loved.

That was followed by a fun mini-cocktail party with my birthday buddy Deci that was organized by Cally. It was a fun surprise that involved walking with Cally from my house to Deci's house carrying a birthday balloon. LOL! These ladies are amazing and I'm lucky to have them as friends.

On Sunday Karen and I met up for a delicious lunch and a sunny, but breezy long walk. I don't know how I would have made it through the last two years without her support.  I also spent time with Katie, Crystal and Heidi as part of my birthday fun - definitely appreciate all of my friends!

Speaking of friends - Reed and Kellan have been playing together a lot and it is so fun to watch. This was at Kellan's birthday party!

Reed and Charlotte created their own science experiment of color mixing one afternoon in the kitchen. What fun!
