After our Skamania Lodge trip, the kids went to their dad's for the rest of break. I went to the cabin and got a lot of work done. I cleaned it top to bottom, did the windows, fixed things, etc. I also had time to enjoy the beautiful valley.
I did a hike up to Sauer's Mountain on Friday. It is in Anderson Canyon, near Peshastin. The balsam root flowers were stunning.
It is hard to tell, but the white spots in the valley are all the apple and pear blossoms - so beautiful this time of year. The Enchantment peaks are on the other side of the valley.
From Sauer's Mountain, you can also look west to the Cascades and Glacier Peak.
