Had an amazing time in San Francisco this weekend to kick off Winter Break. Being in the sun felt amazing and I haven’t explored SF since I was 19. Saturday was a delicious brunch at the back patio of Brioche, walking the town, and a picnic at Alamo Square complete with a visit by a flock of red-headed wild parrots and a view of the "Painted Ladies" made famous by the intro scene of Full House. Riding bikes through Golden Gate Park out to the beach, seeing Golden Gate from Land's End park and envisioning the old Sutro Bathhouse today was the highlight. The cherry on top was an incredible 6-course meal with wine pairings at SPQR. Feeling happy and relaxed! Lest you think it was super highbrow, Friday night was cocktails at The Page near Lower Haight.
