Ski Season Begins!!!!

Our district is a total outlier and canceled school on Friday due to "snow." We will be paying for this in July. But I’m making the best of it and heading skiing! I was so excited to catch opening day at Stevens Pass!!!!

The snow conditions at Stevens were amazing today. WOW. Medium-soft powder, easy-breezy and not too many moguls forming, skis just loved cutting in. Did hot laps all afternoon and no lines. Even opened up 7th Heaven.

Cabin... got 2' of snow since last weekend. I had it down to the ground on Sunday... and so much digging out to do tonight. But I can make it to the hot tub... so that's a win. Not sure about the new plow service throwing snow all over my front door and making that an obstacle in and of itself. Oooof. I just put on some tunes and spent about a little more than an hour digging out. The cabin is FUN and it is also WORK, lest we forget.... we will be reminded shortly.
