Hawaii - Day 4: Hapuna Beach and Kings Land Pool

Today was a relaxation day! I had to stop at the big clubhouse pool for towels when it opened at 8:00 and was able to capture so many different angles of its beauty before anyone was using it. Whoever designed it did such an amazing job and the flora was just delightful.

We went to Hapuna Beach this morning. It is famous for being a large (mile-long), white sand beach with great boogie boarding waves. It did not disappoint. The kids had so much fun body surfing and eventually I found a boogie board rental for Reed. I walked the beach up and down and was able to get in 5 miles while we were there while I did some great people watching. The energy the kids had for surfing wave after wave after wave was really fun to watch.

After lunch and a little siesta, we went to the clubhouse pool and explored all the different areas. The adult pool was even big enough to do a version of lap swim which felt really good. After all that swimming, we had a restful dinner and movie night to cap it all off.
