Our next relaxation day started with an early trip to Black Sand Beach 49, a short drive from our condo. The kids had their snorkeling gear and we played on the beach for hours. I went for a walk along the shore, south a few miles back to the amazing Hilton grounds. On the way I was able to see humpback whales eating and playing. It was hot when I got back and I went swimming with the kids. Floating in salt water and rising with the waves felt incredible.
After lunch and a rest, we went to the clubhouse pool and met up with Jason and Tabby's family who had arrived at that point. The cousins had fun in the "beach" area. And it was so great to watch Reed and Charlotte interacting with their younger cousins. We had a big feast for dinner with them afterwards and watched a movie before crashing into bed.
