Independence Day on Lake Washington

We spent Independence Day on the boat down on Lake Washington. It was such a great time and close enough for me to run back and forth to the house with Reed for a nap in the afternoon. We were lucky to have Matt and Lisa join us for the day.

 It was another HOT day in Seattle. We cooled off by jumping in the lake - even Reed had a good time in the water.

 Eben hooked up the wake board and he and Matt made it look easy.

 The kids liked jumping off the boat.

 

I left early with Reed, but everyone else took the boat down 15 miles south to Lake Union for the Seattle fireworks show. It was an impressive sight from the water and there were so many boats out to view it. Quite an experience and something to look forward to for next year.
