We began Edison's birthday celebrations with a family party at Floyd and Kathie's for the two birthday buddies: Uncle Floyd and Edison.
We spent the morning of Edison's party making this awesome Pikachu Pokemon cake. The kids did a lot of the work themselves.
We had Edison's party at the pavilion at the Civic Club. It was over 90 that day, so the kids had a blast jumping and swimming off the dock.

He also had a lot of fun going out for a birthday shopping and lunch trip with Nana - picking out Pokemon cards and a Lego Star Wars ship with his spending money. I can't believe how fast time has gone!
On the afternoon of his actual birthday, Edison wanted to head out on the boat, so we put it onto Lake Washington and the kids went tubing. It was a beautiful and fun day!
That night, Edison had a final birthday event and opened his presents from mom and dad, including these Star Wars books which are now brought everywhere.
