It snowed so much that Stevens Pass was closed for a week, so no skiing for us. Luckily it was a sunny and beautiful weekend and we took that trip to Tacoma and the Washington State History Museum that I'd been wanting to bring the kids to for the past year. The museum is engaging and downtown Tacoma was actually really fun to walk around and had lots of cool elements to explore. The Seven Seas Brewery was practically empty and I taught the kids how to play shuffleboard. We wrapped it up with a hike at Point Defiance which was socked in with fog over the water.
