Edison had a big end-of-season championship swim meet "Spring Fling" at King County Aquatic Center this weekend. He did awesome - getting best times in all the events he swam. Ever the competitor, he was not satisfied and has new goals about dropping time. So proud of how hard he worked for this and how great he looked in the water!
Meanwhile, Charlotte had her first lacrosse game of the season. She is play "midi" this year because she has incredible stamina (thank you, swimming) and hustle. She was going after ground balls like crazy and inbounding the ball to her teammates - a real leader on the field. So fun to see her come into her own with confidence!
I spent the weekend in the mountains - skiing, paddling, hiking, Plain Cellars, Lake Wenatchee, and stopping at my new favorite brewery: Icicle Brewing. It is a fun balance of snow and water and sun this time of year out at the cabin!
I explored the grounds of Sleeping Lady Lodge for the first time. And found this silhouette from a hike near there of the namesake, herself. I want to go back and try all the food!
And Lake Wenatchee has never been more beautiful and still then on this weekend. WOW!
Meanwhile, back at home... biscuits. Reed's electromagnetic science fair project inspired by our trip to Hoover Dam and how their turbines work. And Edison painted and decorated the Venator Class Star Destroyer. Very cool!
