Two weeks ago, Edison woke up and it was "Potty Day!" We watched a bunch of videos on YouTube about the process of going potty (while sitting on the potty and drinking a bunch of juice). He got some treats and prizes along the way - and I think he thought Potty Day was really fun. As you can see, Charlotte was interested, too. Edison stuck it out, and by the end of the day had managed a few successes. A week later, he is definitely in the routine of using the potty. We always bring it in the car and I still have to remind him all the time about using it, but he is 90% of the way there. On the other hand, Charlotte still has a long way to go.
We have had some fun playdates in the past couple weeks. This is Charlotte with Jake. By the end of the evening, they were both having fun in the pool.
Edison loved having his friend Colin over for lunch. (And thanks to his mommy, Ashley, for bringing us a very yummy noodles & peanut sauce dish.)
Meanwhile, Charlotte was playing peek-a-boo with Colin's brother Pierce.
