My first hike of the season was a tough one: Dirty Face Peak. It packs 3900' elevation into 9.5 miles. It is a great one to do in early June from the cabin since it sits above Lake Wenatchee. It has spectacular 360 degree views and the lupine and wildflowers were going strong. The views were worth the it and having an engrossing audiobook always helps!
