Edison and Charlotte had a fantastic dual-meet series for the spring high school track season. Edison was selected to be a captain this year. Edison went to train at Iron Wood Throwing Center for the first part of Spring Break. He came back and ended up throwing an incredible PR at the Eason Invite - 168' 01"! This shattered the previous Shorecrest school record by almost three feet. Charlotte started to branch out of discus and tried the shot put and javelin events also. Meanwhile, Edison learned the hammer this year from Coach Doug to increase his versatility. They both had a great group of teammates on the throws team that made everything more fun. That was on display at the last dual meet of the season versus Shorewood when they had a "Throwers Relay" as the final event. Both Edison and Charlotte competed and looked like they knew their way around the track.
