May Gems: Mother's Day, Mariners Games, Memorial Weekend at the Cabin and Pink Prom with Jess

I enjoyed a nice Mother's Day with the kids. Charlotte and I went for a long walk around South Lake Union in the morning and then the four of us had a yummy dinner at Agua Verde on Portage Bay. I took the kids to the Shorecrest musical: Guys and Dolls which was exceptional! I have discovered a new found joy for enjoying major league baseball. Amy and I went to a game on a Sunday afternoon and discovered some cool new things, like a speakeasy in the stadium. I also took Reed and Joseph to a Monday evening game that had a few wild plays which kept things interesting from the get-go.

Memorial Weekend we went to the cabin with Josh and Owen (Betsy and Grace were in Germany). We were able to play at Lake Wenatchee, go to a concert at the winery, have a campfire, and float the river despite it being slightly chilly. It was a really enjoyable weekend full of all of the fun things!

Jess and I got all dressed up and headed to the Tractor to catch the Prom Date Mixtape Pink Prom show. They are a super fun 80s cover band and we had so much fun dancing to all the best songs from the 80s, including many that we hadn't heard in ages!
