Eastern Washington Adventure 1 - Sun Lakes State Park Camping

Saturday, March 21
We had a nice, slow morning at the cabin and a yummy pancake breakfast. I finished prepping the camper while the kids did their learning checklist items. Jack and Dillon were driving by with Chris and stopped by to say, "hi." The kids rode bikes to the store which was so cool for them to be able to do. Nana came around lunchtime and after lunch we finished packing up and drove to Sun Lakes State Park. It should have been a two-hour drive, but I realized in Cashmere that I had forgot my wallet, so we had to drive 40 minutes each way to retrieve it. D’oh! But we made it to the campground in late afternoon with time to set everything up, cook dinner, etc. It was a beautiful setting, quite deserted, the campfire Edison made was perfect and the stars were incredible.
