Boat Day was so much fun on Lake Couer d’Alene! We rented a plush and comfy pontoon boat with enough power to tow a tube and cruise up and down the lake. We spent the morning going from Windy Bay near our cabin (western shore of the lake) up to downtown CDA. The kids had fun cliff jumping at Tubbs Hill. It was interesting touring the lake and seeing all the different homes and set ups. We found a calm bay for super sporty tubing. Charlotte and Edison did a great job driving the boat and Reed was awesome at tubing - often throwing in some fun moves like waves and silly poses. After lunch, we headed to the cute town of Harrison and the Harrison Ice Creamery. I have never seen ice cream cones so big (and they were delicious). We will be back! After that, we found a nice cove for swimming to wrap up our lake day.
