Last weekend we celebrated my Aunt Kirstie’s 80th birthday with a fabulous brunch at Salish Lodge at Snoqualmie Falls. Kirstie is an amazing woman and I’m so happy to share in this special birthday!
Jess and I hiked Lake Serene and Bridal Veil Falls the next day. It was cold and drizzled on and off but we still manage to have fun and great conversations . But the forest was enchanting and the lake and waterfall were delightful! At 2600’ elevation gain during the 9 mile hike, it was pushing my knee to its limits. But we did it! New goal to get back into better hiking shape and get that knee back to 100 percent!
