After four powder days in a row, it was nice to show up Saturday for some groomers. The kids rocked the terrain park and it was fun to capture a few of their jumps!

MW Vacation Day 4: More Powder! Too much powder!

MW Vacation Day 3: Powder Day and Apres Ski with the Mitchells, Dubs and Rebecca
We got fresh tracks on Big Chief while we did laps waiting for the backside to open. Once it did, it was a powder-fest back there. Rachelle, Rebecca and I had a major workout on Pegasus in about two-feet of heavy powder.

MW Vacation Day 2: Sunny Morning, Late Stevens Opening, Skiing with the Birgfelds
After all that snow, highway 2 was closed until 10:00 AM and Stevens Pass Ski Area didn't open until noon. So we enjoyed a beautiful, sunny morning at the cabin while the crews worked on the roads and avalanche control. It was great to have a slow start. My walk to the hardware store was breathtaking.
We circled up with the Birgfelds for the noon- opening. Unfortunately they only opened a few lifts, no Big Chief, no Tye Mill, and nothing on the backside. So the lines were horrendous. But it was still great to be up and after a hot cocoa break, the lines were much shorter at 3:00.
